I found this the most relaxing part of our holiday, but I think this was largely due to where we stayed. We found a lovely little cottage set in someone's land with orange, lemon and olive trees around us and a 20m walk to a deserted beach. It was so peaceful and we were made to be very welcome by the owners who provided us with homemade olive oil, homemade limoncello, wine and oranges picked straight from the trees and by the owner's three dogs who followed us out of the gate onto the beach and sat with us until we returned.
Here's a selection of some of my favourite photos:
And that's it for our Sicily holiday. We have just returned from travelling around the south coast of England, but I think our next holiday abroad will be with our baby! We think it's going to have to be a little more tame that our recent trips and it's probably going to have to involve a lot less travelling around. We are thinking of perhaps hiring a villa in the South of France. Do you have any recommendations for good holidays with a baby?
